Study day on Dying, Death and Bereavement

On the 25th March 2010, 150 people from health and social care settings in Moray attended a Study Day at Elgin Town Hall entitled “Dying, Death and Bereavement” aimed at those who come into contact with the dying patient and the bereaved. The day included a variety of speakers from across Grampian giving differing views and knowledge of the dying, death and bereavement process. Feedback from the day has been very positive. Delegates reported that the knowledge and skills gained will influence their clinical practice in many ways, including:

Thank you to all speakers and delegates for supporting this event that focused on an important but often neglected issue. We look forward to the next one!
